The nerve center for the Ultra Trail del Mugello, the Badia di Moscheta, will offer many activates on race day:
The Museum
The educational museum, documents the characteristics of the Mugello and High Mugello landscape
The exhibition is divided into three sections: The first presents the history of the abbey, where the Museum is located. In the second section, the flora, the fauna , the history of human settlement and society of the Apennines is covered. And in the third, you learn the historical epochs with significant changes to land use. Educational workshops and tours in the surrounding countryside provide insight into many aspects dealing with land use and preparation.
It is part of the Museo Diffuso Mugello/Alto Mugello - Val di Sieve and is managed by the Mountain Community.

Equestrian Centre Badia di Moscheta:
The Abbey has an important Equestrian Centre, a must for breeders and horse lovers . With 80 specimens of the Haflinger breed, visitors are offered the chance to do trail rides, horseback riding lessons and other interesting activities for individuals or groups.
